Coolroom & General storage Shelving
Shiva shelving is the perfect solution for many years of trouble free storage within coolrooms, as you understand, Coolroom shelving lives in a environment fit for nobody, freezing conditions, acids from food, boxes being dragged and thumbed down, finish options for Coolrooms are Zinc Plated Mild Steel or Stainless Steel.
Shiva Shelving is basically metal angle, to each unit you would have 2 end frames: (pre welded end frames with punched arrow slots at 50mm intervals).
The size of the unit would determined the amount of beams that would come standard with the unit.
Beams are H.D metal angle with positive arrowhead welded on.
All beams clip in easy and accurately.
Wire shelves are standard with Shiva shelving as this allows air to circulate around food, the wire shelves simply and easy insert on top of the beams to form a finished shelf.
Shelves are unable to move without being lifted for removal, this is also useful for cleaning as there are no nut & bolts to remove.
Most Coolroom floors are not level so on each end frame there are 2 adjustable feet to make your shelving level.
These pictures (above & left) show a Shiva shelving unit in a highly durable Zinc finish that is standard, the zinc finish is very resistant to moisture and food acids.
As you can see from the pictures (below) Shiva Shelving is not only for coolrooms the above units have 16mm boards sitting on reversed beams to create a mass of general storage space, to top this off the unit as three finish options were for general storage Zinc plated, Stainless steel or powder coated.
